KOTA

For colorful life

Finnish: KOTA and Swedish: kåta is a temporary dwelling used by the Sami people of northern Scandinavia. It has a design similar to a Native American tipi but is less vertical and more stable in high winds. It is still used as a temporary shelter

by the Sami, (Wikipedia)

KOTA store UK was founded 2016 by Newcastle based Finnish interior designer/fashion stylist Krista Puranen Wilson for the love of good design.

After many years in the industry Krista now has created her first collections for KOTA drawing inspiration from art and design from the 20th century as well as from the colorful world we live in today.

At KOTA we are conscious of eco-friendly design processes and most of our products are made to order.

We don't follow trends either so our products are designed to be cherished for years to come.

Love for bold prints and vivid colors are key elements for KOTA's trademark designs and we hope

you will fall in love with them too!
